Classic Steam on the East Lancashire Railway
This DVD features many different steam locomotives in action on the E.L.R. Filmed between August 1990 and January 1993, locomotives as diverse as the Ex SR USA Class 0-6-0T number 30072 and Ex GWR 2-8-0 number 3822 are seen as well as heard. Famous names like "FLYING SCOTSMAN", "BAHAMAS", "BURTON AGNES HALL", "CANADIAN PACIFIC" and many others work passenger duties and keep the past alive for the hoards of visiting enthusiats that come to admire the hard work of the perservationists.
Also, the DVD has several bonus features one of which is a short clip of The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Shot in June 1990 Ex LMS 0-6-0T 47279 and Ex GWR 0-6-0PT 5775 are seen working passenger duties. 5775 in in the livery it is probably best known for, the fictional GN&SR colours created for the film "The Railway Children". The sheds at Oxenhope and Haworth are also visited where many steam and diesel locomotives can be seen at rest.
The main feature runs for 78 minutes and has almost 30 minutes of bonus features.
